This dvd contains footage of the prototype Canberra in 1949 and Blue Canberras at RAF Wyton in 1989. In addition you can also see various flying displays performed by the blue T4 Canberra to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first flight. Finally you can also see the last 2 flights of this aircraft before retirement, with unique crew interviews. A lovely record of a beautiful aircraft. Duration = 30 minutes approximately. 2 discs in this set; disc 1 is 90 minutes, disc 2 is 106 minutes. Disc 1 has footage of a 4-ship Vulcan take-off and a Vulcan display, the handover of XH558 from the RAF to the Walton family at Bruntingthorpe, preparation for that flight, take-off from Waddington and arrival at Bruntingthorpe. Footage shot from the Vulcan's bomb-aimer window is included - totally unique! Disc 2 has the final delivery flight as shot from the bomb-aimer's window, including comms by the crew. All in all very interesting look back at XH558 as we wait for her to take to the air again in the coming months. A must for every Vulcan fan!
